I'm going to start adding links to collections that have earned my respect insofar as they evince a passion for collecting like my own. It's arbitrary, I know, but then again, it's my site.
The first one to be added is my good friend, Theirry. I came across his site early on in my collecting, and I liked a lot of what he has up. I wish he'd put in a search feature, and it's the same wish I have for my own site. He talked me into putting up a New Arrivals section, and while that section poses more work for me in transferring material from there to the other proper sections, it was worth it.
6/22/07. I enjoy Thierry's collection because it is diverse, and because I appreciate some of the areas he focuses on like Spielberg and the Academy Awards films. Originally, I was limited to US onesheets, and that bummed me a bit because a lot of the international artwork is much better than the US art, but I didn't go for it because it was outside of my self-imposed box. Looking at how nicely Thierry's collection works, even though sourced from many different countries, helped me break through to what I believe is a healthier collecting perspective.

6/22/07. This next collection I happened on in my searching for collector's poster sites. The whole of this fellow's collection is centered around the films that were targeted by Mystery Science Theater 3000. I used to watch the show years ago - you know, the one with the two robots in the front row that comment on the movies. It was a lot of fun, and I respect the collection because it is purest in following those movies.

6/22/07. This is a very favorite collection. jrdesign gets high marks from me by pursuing an area that not many other people do anything but dabble in. It's a tough area because the material he collects is large. But, he gathers it and displays it as only a true collector would. I don't think he's much worried about whether he will ever make a profit, which only heightens the appeal of this collection. I have much respect for what he has done to put it together.
