7/6/07. Australia. R/SS.

Paranoid Park

8/16/08. Lot. R/DS.

Pathfinder

R/DS.

Pathfinder

1/25/07. International. I purchased this poster and received it on 1/31/07. I just finished flattening, and the picture that's now posted here is my actual shot of it. I bet it will look good lit up, but it was bumped out by international version fo the Fountain which is on display now. R/DS.

Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

10/16/06: I really like this poster. I read most of the novel some years ago, if it's the same one I'm thinking of, of a guy who has olfactory sensation so powerful that he finally gets to the point of trying ot distill the scent of life. Now why didn't I finish the book? Maybe it's time. I haven't received my copy yet, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it displays in the lightbox. R/DS.

The Phantom of the Opera

1/21/07. One of my daughter's favorite movies, and her favorite play. R/DS.

Picnic at Hanging Rock

11/15/07. Australia. This poster was hanging in my office for almost a year. It's really wonderful, and as haunting and the movie itself. F/SS.

12/17/07. Updated pic.

Picnic at Hanging Rock

9/7/08. This is a rerelease. I bought it because I wanted a rolled version that would look better in a frame. R/SS.

The Pink Panther

R/DS.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl

7/2/07. I've had these for over a year. I don't know how, but they were not added to my online collection and I just noticed it when adding the posters for At World's End. R/DS.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest

7/2/07. R/DS.

Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End

4/2/07. It's very cool in person -- better than it appears in the photo. Done in Disney style, it's on glossy, very substantial stock. I don't know which I'm waiting for more: Spidey 3 or this one! R/DS.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End

6/17/07. International. I've seen these in bus shelters, but not another set of these international onesheets have I seen come on the market. Interestingly, the word is that there is reportedly NOT a Davy Jones version in this set like there is in the US. I am very happy to have found this set, all double-sided! R/DS.

Pitch Black

R/DS.

4/5/07. When I first saw this movie, I believe that the critters were the baddest ones to be conceived since Alien. Not only is this movie scary as hell with some real badass monsters, but the cinematography is excellent. That scene which switches between the blue and orange suns with that washed out look is just wonderful and one of my favorite movie scenes ever.

Planet of the Apes

6/24/07. A gift from DanR. R/SS.

Planet of the Apes

2/18/08. Copy 2, a gift. R/SS.

Planet Terror

11/15/07. Thai. R/DS.

Planet Terror

1/27/08. Good luck finding one of these. I am very fortunate to know a good friend who helped me get one of these. You know who you are! Thanks! R/DS.

Playing God

1/26/07. R/DS.

Pocahontas

5/27/07. International. Probably second only to the Lion King as our favorite. R/DS.

Pocahontas

Point of No Return

10/9/08. The pretty good remake of Besson's great movie. R/DS.

Pollack

8/16/08. Lot. R/SS.

Pokemon

9/7/08. One of those that my son loved when he was much younger. I'm hopeful that my young son will like it too. R/DS.

The Polar Express

R/DS.

Practical Magic

R/DS.

Predator 2

R/DS.

Predator 2

1/21/07. This was recalled for the graphic nature of the depiction. R/DS.

The Prestige

1/25/07. I get vertigo just looking at the picture. I can't wait for it to get here! R/DS.

Pretty Woman

10/9/08. Took awhile to add this, but finally found a reasonably priced copy. R/DS.

Priceless

6/30/08. She looks so cute in this poster that I could not resist it. R/DS.

The Producers

R/DS.

The Professional (Leon)

7/6/07. Australia. F/SS.

The Professional (Leon)

7/24/07. Australia. I've had a quite nice run of good posters for this great movie. R/SS.

The Professional (Leon)

6/24/07. International. I bought this as part of a set from DanR. This is the authentic version. I have some nice Japanse and French paper, and it was about time that I added some onesheets to the collection. I will make a closer comparison of the two posters in time. R/SS.

The Professional (Leon)

6/24/07. The reprint. R/DS.

The Professional

6/24/07. Another set of real and fake from DanR. This is the authentic version. R/DS.

The Professional

6/24/07. The reprint. R/SS.

Proteus

11/15/07. For five bucks, I thought this poster was really cool. The seller shipped it in a crap box (yes, a box!) which got punctured and resulted in substantial damage. Still, it's cool. R/DS.

Pulp Fiction

1/21/07. The so-called dictionary style. R/SS.

Pulp Fiction

10/14/06: I have the real one and the reproduction. This is the real deal according to all tests on MPA (now down, it appears :-( ). R/SS.

4/2/07. Updated pic. This is the real one. The dimensions are 27 3/16" x 40 1/16". I will be doing a comparison of the real and fake in a soon to be posted blog on authenticating this poster ( I might as well add my two cents).

Pulp Fiction

4/2/07. This is the reproduction. The dimensions are a hari under 27" x 39 13/16". R/SS.

Pulp Fiction

10/9/08. A video poster which reminds me of the art on the British double crown version. R/SS.

Pulse

R/DS.

4/5/07. The movie blows.

Pumpkinhead

1/21/07. I saw this one a long time ago when I was married. My wife and the time and I used to call each other pumpkinhead (actually, punkahead), though I have NO idea why. It's a pretty good flick.

Purple Rain

The Quick and the Dead

6/24/07. How cool is this poster! This is the much more rare advance. R/SS.

The Quick and the Dead

R/DS.

The Quick and the Dead

7/24/07. Australia. I'm really glad that I branched out into posters from other countries. If I hadn't, I would have been stuck with the limited offerings of the US, and Iw ould have missed out on great art like this poster. R/SS.

Ratatouille

1/21/07. R/DS.

The Reaping

R/DS.

The Reaping

1/26/07. I've already purchased the advance because of Hillary Swank's role in the film and the image. I purchased the final because of the rich, haunting colors which I believe will dislay well when lit. R/DS.

Reel Paradise

8/16/08 Lot. R/DS.

Renaissance

R/DS.

The Replacement Killers

10/9/08. R/DS.

Requiem for a Dream

5/23/07. I finally got my hands on a reasonably priced copy. The best anti-drug movie ever. R/DS.

Requiem for a Dream

7/2/07. International. They're all really great posters for this movie. R/DS.

Reservoir Dogs

Resident Evil

4/2/07. This was given to me as a bonus by a good seller I purchase from. It is the Thai insert, I believe, but if I'm wrong, please drop me a line. 12 3/4" x 27 3/8". R/SS.

Resident Evil: Extinction

6/17/07. I am a sucker for this series of movies. R/DS.

Resident Evil: Extinction

11/15/07. R/DS.

Resident Evil

9/7/08. I have a lot of the posters for this series, but this is the first chance I had to buy one from the first movie. R/DS.

Riff Raff

8/16/08. Lot. R/SS.

The Ring

4/25/08. I've not seen the movie yet, but the posters are great. R/DS.

The Road to Hong Kong

7/9/08. I don't usually buy posters from this period, but this one is cool enough to bend that rule once again. F/SS.

Rocketeer

R/DS.

Romeo is Bleeding

5/12/07. I bought the Japanese paper first, and then this came along. Both are nice. R/DS.

Romeo & Juliet

R/DS.

Rust Never Sleeps

9/7/08. Italy. I watched this as a midnight movie when I was a teenager, and I'm still a fan of Neil Young all these years later. The art on this Italian version is fantastic. F/SS.

Run Lola Run

2/16/07. I purchased these on ebay as a set, one being the DS original, and the other being a SS reprint. They came from Dan who used to run the MPA website. R/DS. R/SS.

3/18/07. Dan sold a second set that I purchased. I now own two DS copies measuring 27" x 40" (one is appears to be a hair under 40"). One SS version measures 26 15/16" x a hair over 39 7/8, and was listed as a SS reprint. The second SS version is a hair under 27 x a hair over 39 7/8 and was also listed as a reprint.

Run Lola Run

3/21/07. 26 15/16" x a hair over 39 7/8". This is my favorite version of the bunch, but I don't know which one it is yet. I had only seen this in the German version. This version I bought from Dan R as a set along with the other versions listed on this site. R/SS.

Run Lola Run

3/21/07. The one measures 26 15/16" x a hair over 38 15/16". The third version I purchased from Dan R as the set. Again, I don't know which one this is. R/SS.

Run Lola Run

7/24/07. Germany. Of all the posters I've seen, this is the one I've always wanted most for this movie. R/SS on linen.

Run Lola Run

9/12/08. German A1. R/SS.

Saturn 3

1/21/07. Kurt Russell alone (basically) on a space station with Farah Fawcett. Not too shabby.

Saving Private Ryan

R/DS.

Saving Private Ryan

Saw

3/24/07. I was pleased to find a double sided copy so quickly after buying the ss version. From Dan R. R/DS.

4/5/07. Updated pic.

Saw II

9/11/07. This is the poster that the idiot first sent me. (See Saw II Blood Drive in Advertising section for more). R/SS.

Saw

1/26/07. R/SS.

Saw III

3/18/07. I bought this from Dan R. It's the famous (infamous?) blood version in which, reportedly, a vial of the lead actor's blood was mixed with the printing ink. I don't know if I would have bought this on my own, but given that it was offered by Dan, I figured it needed to be purchased. R/DS.

Scanners

7/9/08. Thailand. How's this for an awesome poster! By far, it's the best art I've seen for this movie. R/SS.

Scarface

Scary Movie 4

Scary Movie 4

The Science of Sleep

10/14/06: I love this poster for a reason that no one but my kids would understand. They (actually my son) have a stuffed animal named The Nut (evolved from Walnut) that is a gray hippo, though it looks like a pony. The Nut has a personality and, actually, a life all his own. Though he can be really annoying, I love him because, in a way, The Nut is a reflection of a facet of my son's personality (and trust me, my daughter gets into it too!). Anyway, when I saw this poster, the horse immediately reminded me of The Nut, and it is very soothing to me. I've hung this in the lightbox and it displays well. It's much better, IMHO, than the final version that was released recently. R/DS.

Scoop

8/15/06: Reportedly, Woody Allen made this movie especially for Scarlett Johansson. When I saw this poster listed, and knowing at Scarlett at the time only from her role in Lost in Translation, I was really struck by this profile shot of her with Jackman. I recently had this poster displayed in my light boxes along with The Last Kiss. They looked really good together. The Last Kiss was on the left side, with Scoop on the right, so that they posters matched up really well in terms of color. Anyway, it's a nice poster. R/DS.

Seabiscuit

2/16/07. International. I've had this since last year. It's a favorite of mine. I grew up with horses, and I find this scene very touching. R/DS.

Secretary

8/12/07. What a great movie this is. Talk about the tables being turned! R/DS.

Secretary

12/17/07. Truly, a must-have poster for any collection. The movie is great, and this poster really is in keeping with the movie. The colors are spectactular, and the poster is done on heavy matte paper. About 27" x 39". R/SS.

Serenity

1/21/07. R/DS.

Se7en

1/21/07. The more rare advance version.
